Italy, 2024 - Sealling the water reservoir in Milano - Pond waterproofing

An ornamental pond needed to be redevelopmented so that to achieve watertightness of the pond banks. There was used EUROBENT CS 0,5 T (8500-285).

It ensured environmental harmory in the landscape of Milan, enhancing one of its most important green areas. When GCL once laid, the material was covered with soil, ensuring perfect integration into the natural surroundings. This geosyntetical bentonite mat is reinforced with textured membrane 0,5mm and thick 285g woven fabric. There is higher stability on steep edges and excellent tightness, even if mechanical factors occur. Such solution guarantees protection against deformation, as well.
